My Mom and I walked in our community as part of the World Record Walk on October 3rd, 2007. I managed to complete the 1km with my trusty cane! I am so proud! We helped Canada achieve a Guinness World Record!!!

World Record Walk 

Our World Record Goal has been achieved:

On October 3, 2007, at 12:30 EDT, Canada set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people walking one kilometer at the same time. We smashed the existing record of 100,915, set by Western Australia in September 2006 (www.wagiantwalk.com.au).

Way to go Canada.
